Why I blog...

I'm becoming more and more aware of how increasingly difficult it is for my friends and family to read my blog. It's gotta be hard to know someone so well, yet realize that you may not really know them at all... Having front row access to someones inner-thoughts can leave you victim to an acute case of "over-sharing".

As I've stated before the only way to successfully complete my mission of spreading Ovarian Cancer Awareness is by being honest and hopefully with that honesty I'll be able to reach more people than I ever thought possible. Unfortunately, some of what I have to say can be a little hard to handle for my loved ones. So as I continue to throw caution to the wind, I would like those who know me personally to remember that this is all apart of my journey...a journey to a happier, healthier,me!!

xoxo

that's so true - I have sometimes had to delete quite a bit of what I 'really' felt like saying, as sometimes the rellies and friends got a bit upset [with me!] for being too frank about how I felt at that precise moment or on a particular day.

I think it can be hard for people who love us to cope, when sometimes all they want to think is that you're 'ok' now and everythings back to normal. And that's a good thing, but can be frustrating for us as the people who know we're NOT back to normal. Yet.

But we will be! :o) Keep on keeping on!

I have thought about starting another blog, where I can complain all I want, without friends and relatives knowing the site! But, I don't post much on my current blog - so another one would be too much work. ;)

There are some things I don't say or talk about, because I know friends and family are reading. However that self censorship has been less prominent the more I blog.

This post is a great disclaimer for you - and I know your friends and family will understand.

ee! Nat - what an excellent idea! Although we can do that in messages back and forth on Facebook - have a good old moan to one another and know that everything is 'ok' to say - 'cos we all go there at some point.

But a secret blog just for really complaining? hahaha! great plan!
